The combination of somatic practice with Veronica and voicework with Sophie promises to offer a unique and playful platform for deep explorations of embodiment. Out of the somatic practice, aimed at exploring the vibrational capacities and ever expanding internal spaces in our bodies, we will continue the subtle internal investigations towards greater wholeness through singing. You will be taught, by ear, beautiful simple ensemble pieces from across the world that encourage a profound sense of connection and collaboration through harmony. There is something inexplicably powerful, exciting and restorative about singing alongside others in embodied harmonies!
Both Sophie and Veronica are committed to encouraging a profoundly compassionate approach to breath-work; investigating different ways of relating to airflow in order to support a more embodied relationship to singing. The aim of working in this way, bringing a friendly and playful curiosity to internal mechanisms, is to help open up new ways of connecting to the voice, liberating individual expression. The more we become attuned to the joyful even ecstatic sensations of singing, letting go of any preconceived ideas of our own ‘ability’, the more we enable the release of unhelpful ‘holdings’. We discover, from the inside, what kinds of ‘doings’ might help the all-important ‘undoings’. Such internal investigations can be challenging, as we come up against our own vulnerabilities, discovering unnecessary tensions that might restrict us. But the rewards are precious. By revealing more of our own truth to ourselves through singing alongside others in harmony, we can be more authentic in our communications and, in turn, feel more empowered to unite and be moved in community.

Embodied Harmonies with Veronica and Sophie was an absolute highlight for me in 2024! Thank you both so much for the wonderful days, the shared sensing, practicing, and singing—a brilliant combination! The harmonies augmented within me and within our group. Veronica and Sophie are a fantastic team (...) I've been singing my whole life and in various choirs for more than 45 years. Singing is a resource and life elixir for me. I would never have expected to explore previously undiscovered territory for my voice. I was able to grow beyond myself in a very harmonious way. Sophie showed me a different way into my singing, and I had indescribable goosebumps moments that led to a magical integration deep within me.

Yoga, breathing and singing - all in one workshop? Why not yoga alone or singing alone? And what does "Embodied Harmonies" mean?
The two trainers Veronica and Sophie led the workshop on a common wavelength. First thing, landing in your own body, discovering the spaces for the breath and the inner harmony that is already there and doesn't have to be created.
Then, with Sophie, the vocalisation of these rediscovered harmonies, the sounding and singing, the increase in singing in a 2-, 3- and 4-part choir (we were 12 participants) -it was amazing how far we were able to expand our abilities in two and a half days.
Something new and mighty happened, and I can warmly recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested and curious.

Thank you for this outstanding experience! It really was a pleasure to sing again in choir.
(…) I was very tense at the beginning of this weekend. What would I be experiencing in this seminar with other people, singing with them and exploring the connections in my body?
I thank you both so much for 'preparing' the body, learning to listen to its needs, getting more permeableand through this becoming more patient with myself. And so I had a wonderful time with my co-practitioners.
